The Pather, Duliajan Folk Theatre Group from Assam presented a play, 'Rukmini Haran', under the direction of Pabita Chetia and Nirajan Saikia.
The three-day event has been organised by the Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi, in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Akademi
The play was based on a legend from the Mahabharta. It revolved around the divine love of princess Rukmini, daughter of Vidharbha king Bhishmaka, much to the dismay of Rukmini's brother prince Rukmi. OC
