Man booked on charge of threatening advocate

The police have booked a man for voluntarily causing hurt to an advocate at the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

According to the police, complainant Aditya Dassaur, a resident of Phase I, Mohali, reported that he was representing a case against accused Amandeep. The lawyer opposed the bail filed by Amandeep.

The complainant alleged that when he came out of the court, Amandeep obstructed his way and started misbehaving with him. According to the complainant, the accused hit him with a bag and threatened him.

The police have registered a case against the accused under Sections 323, 341 and 506 of the IPC and an investigation has been initiated.
