Chandigarh: Manav Mangal School organised ‘Meet the Leaders’ programme under which students got to meet and listened to leaders and achievers from various fields. The speakers, Pradeep Singh (former CEO of the Mohali Campus and the Deputy Dean of the Indian School of Business) and Anirudh (the founder of Ikigai Law, an award-winning law firm that works with leading global technology companies and startups) addressed the students. A debate contest was launched for the students of Classes IX and X, wherein they were given a platform to develop strong communication skills, form decisive arguments, & learn how to prove and present, make a video pitch and upload it on YouTube. The three best entries were showcased and the winning team was awarded. The manavites who found place in the top three are: Anandani Yogi, Karanveer& Ananmay, Ms. Jasparteek & Ms. Prisha.

Young learners of classes l and l were sensitised towards kindness for animals. They were motivated to make masks of different animals in the classrooms as their EVS project. Later on they were taken to the school ground for a parade to propagate the message of animal welfare.”

SGGS collegiate School wore a festive look as the School organized Kindergarten Sports Meet ( URJA). The Chief Guest for event was Dr Dolly Khanna from Punjab University. Mr. Yograj Singh, Cricketer and actor was Guest of the Honour. The programme began with bouquet presentation. This was entailed by the opening ceremony and releasing balloons by Chief Guest as declaration of the meet open. A spectacular and impressive march past by the young brigade renderd the spectators, speechless and awe Struck. There was the splendid display of aerobics and dance by the tiny tots followed by the races.
