A hands-on experiment activity was organised for students of Classes I and II at Manav Mangal Smart World School, Zirakpur. Students were dived into the world of science while participating in the activity. A number of experiments were conducted and students presented the science behind various experiments to their peers and teachers. The objective was to introduce the students to the vast world of science and to enhance their presentation skills.

Golden Bells, SAS Nagar

Golden Bells Public School, Sector 77, SAS Nagar, distributed winter clothes to the underprivileged children in the nearby slums on outskirts of Phase 8 of SAS Nagar. Schoolchildren donated books, notebooks, school furniture and stationeries to the needy children in these areas. Chairman Col CS Bawa (retd) thanked children for cooperation.

St Joseph’s, Chandigarh

The primary-II block of St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, organised its annual prize distribution ceremony. In order to motivate the students, Ragandeep, an alumni, presented trophies and certificates to the best orator and best player. Those who were regular, punctual, excellent in co-curricular activities and academics were also awarded.

The Knowledge Bus, Kharar 

The Knowledge Bus Global School, Kharar, organised a fireless cooking competition for students and their fathers. They made easy and quick dishes. Jeenatpreet and his father Maninderpal won the first prize, whereas Illahi and his father IPS Kohli got the second position. Shilija and his father Rajive Kapri came third, while Sangam and his father Vijay Kumar bagged the fourth position.

Workshop on RTI
