Milan Jaiswal of MASD Public School, Panipat, outwitted Priyanshu Tokas of Universal Public School to enter the boys’ U-17 quarterfinals in the 51kg category on the third day of the CBSE Zonal Boxing Championships at The Bitish School, Sector 44, here today.

Abhay of BBN, Panipat, packed off Rohit of Mata Gujri School, Kaithal, in the pre-quarterfinals, while Karan Singh of DAV NTPC, Faridabad, drubbed Hardeep of Sunshine School, Kaithal. Chirag of RBSM Public School, Gurugram, ousted Hitesh of HR Green Field School, Jhajjar. 

Bhupinder of HD Senior Secondary School, Jhajjar, defeated Punit of St Sofia Senior Secondary School, Hisar, to move into the quarterfinals. Mukul of DAV Public School, Hisar, got the better of Rahul of GL Public School, Karnal, while Amit Kundu of Chaju Ram School, Hisar, outpunched GL Public School’s Sagar in the last-16 bout.

Pratyush of Motherland School, Saharanpur, moved into quarterfinals after beating Akash of Arya Senior Secondary School, Madina.
