Mohali, April 29
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Mohali, Harcharan Singh Bhullar, is waiting to move into the house, designated as the SSP’s official residence-cum-camp office here for over two months. His predecessor has still not vacated the house.
“As per instructions of the Punjab Police authorities, an official, who is in possession of the government accommodation, has to vacate it immediately after his/her transfer from the area,” said sources.
The SSP’s official residence also houses a camp office, where the officer attends to people after his office hours.
Sources claimed that two communiqués had already been shot off to Chahal by the authorities concerned for vacating the residence.
Bhullar has joined as the Mohali SSP on February 13 this year after transfer of his predecessor Kuldeep Singh Chahal. Meanwhile, Chahal has cited some pressing personal reasons for delay in vacating the house, said the sources.
