Motorcycle hits woman, son

DERA BASSI: A woman and her one-year-old son sustained injury after they were reportedly hit by a motorbike while going to a nagar kirtan at Dera Bassi on Sunday evening.

A woman and her one-year-old son sustained injury after they were reportedly hit by a motorbike while going to a nagar kirtan at Dera Bassi on Sunday evening.

The victims have been identified as Aman (30) and her one-year-old son Prabhkamal, both residents of Issapur colony, Dera Bassi.

The incident happened on Sunday evening when Aman, with her son in her arms, was going to attend a nagar kirtan. A youth riding a bullet reportedly hit her from behind after which she fell on the road. The mother and the son sustained injury.

The accused fled away from the spot leaving the bullet motorcycle behind. The police was informed about the incident and further investigation was underway.
