Rayat Bahra Ropar Campus has decided to introduce new courses, keeping in view the employment opportunities in the market. These new courses will have employment potential and are aimed at preparing students to get jobs in various sectors.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group, told the media here on Thursday that the new courses include BVoc in agriculture, beauty and wellness, tourism and hospitality, and networking and hardware, BSc agriculture (Hons), MSc (computer science), and MSc (chemistry). All these courses would be affiliated to IKG Punjab Technical University, he said. He also announced that their skill development centre, under the Punjab Skill Development Mission to bridge the gap between unemployed and uneducated, was training youths in 12 sectors. —TNS
