Rayman Circus comes to city after 30 years

Chandigarh, March 30

The 95-year-old Rayman Circus will be showcased in the city after a span of 30 years from March 31 till May 5 near Housing Board light point at Mani Majra.

The circus will be inaugurated by Chandigarh Commonwealth Games-2018 winner Anjum Maudgil and this time artistes from Kenya and Manipur will entertain the audience with their performances. Circus manager Alankeshvar Bhaskar and Sunil Goyal said, “This time, we have brought Kenya artistes who will enthral the audience with their dance.”

Sunil said other artistes, including two jokers, will enthral the audience with their mimicry. Alankeshvar said, “Water tankers, sand bags and fire extinguishers have been kept to tackle any kind of incident. Besides, CCTVs have also been installed.”  — TNS
