Sanawar Montessori School, Sector 11, celebrated Baisakhi. A special assembly was organised wherein students were made aware of the significance of the festival and were also explained about the formation of Khalsa Panth. The pre-Primary students made beautiful turbans as Baisakhi cutouts. The students also learned about the process of harvesting.

Manav Mangal Smart World, Zirakpur, celebrated Baisakhi with enthusiasm. A Baisakhi mela was organised for junior wing students who came dressed up in Punjabi attire, while a special assembly was held for senior students to provide them an insight into Punjabi legacy. Bhangra, gidda performances and folk singing were the highlights of the day.
Sri Guru Gobind, Chandigarh
The centenary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre was marked with patriotic fervour at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School. A special morning assembly was also held to pay tributes to the martyrs who had laid down their lives for the sake of the nation on April 13, 1919. Various competitions such as poem recitation, collage-making and speech competition were organised. A documentary movie was also shown to the students.

Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, organised a session on balanced diet for children of Class IV and V. Pooja Dogra, a dietician and member of the IDA, delivered the talk. She told the participants about the components of balanced diet and stressed on the importance of having breakfast daily. A team of students presented a skit on eating healthy and avoiding junk food.
