Research shows that people who feel younger than their chronological age were likely to live longer and lead better lives, said Vivek Atray, noted author, motivational speaker and former IAS officer.

Addressing the Rotary Club of Chandigarh, Atray said there was no specific formula to stay young but one needs to take charge of one’s mind. 

“Keeping mind agile yet calm, shunning negativity in day-to-day conversations and finding joy in little things is the key to youthfulness,” he said.

Punctuating his talk with real-life anecdotes, Atray said an active and agile mind keeps body equally active and strong. He said feeding mind with positivity everyday could bring about tremendous change in life.
