To reinforce the ethos of training, motivation and character building among the NCC cadets, a convocation was organised to honour the Chandigarh NCC Air Squadron with ‘C’ certificates here today.
The ceremony was attended by all cadets who successfully completed their NCC air wing training.
The ‘C’ certificate is awarded to cadets on the completion of three years of rigorous training as per the prescribed syllabus. Group Captain AK Tripathi, Director NCC, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh NCC Directorate congratulated the cadets on their achievement and urged them to use their knowledge for the betterment of society.
Group Captain MR Pandeya, Commanding Officer No.1, Chandigarh NCC Air Squadron, said joining the NCC helps the students nurture their talent. He said students obtaining the ‘C’ certificate would be given a priority in state and Central Government jobs in all departments.
