YPS celebrates Sports Day
Patiala, November 10
Yadavindra Public School (YPS), Patiala, celebrated the 71st annual Sports Day on Saturday. Around 1,600 students participated in the mega event.
The celebrations kicked off with arrival and welcome of the chief guest, the Punjab and Haryana High Court Judge, Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal.
The function started with chanting of the ‘mool mantra’ from ‘Shri Japji Sahib’. The chief guest hoisted the school flag and declared the sports meet open. Students of Class X to XII saluted the chief guest in a uniformed, steady and rhythmically synchronised impressive march past coupled with the rousing music by the school pipe band.—TNS
