Students of bio-technology and applied sciences staged a nukkad natak, depicting various issues pertaining to environment and use of science to mark National Science Day at the campus on Wednesday.

National Science Day is celebrated to mark the discovery of Raman Effect by the famous Indian Physicist Sir C V Raman in 1928. Bio-technology students (II year) staged a play showcasing the importance of reuse of paper, reduce the usage of plastic and fuel and recycling of different products so that there is no effect on environment. Meanwhile, final year students of applied sciences showcased the importance of science and technology. They depicted how simple machines such as lever, wheel and others transform lives. Various events included quiz, paper presentation, best-out-of-waste and poster-making contest.
