Gandhi said, “It is a great initiative of the school. I am happy that something like occupational therapy is being inaugurated for deaf and blind children.” The MP appreciated the efforts of the society for the cause of these children. He was impressed with the layout of the school.

Pawan Kumar Bansal, secretary, Society for Welfare of Handicapped, said, “Children with multiple disabilities are physically weak so they are not capable of doing the daily chores on their own. A gymnasium at the occupational therapy center has been donated by the MP under the MPLAD scheme. Actions and movements of children with multiple disabilities are incoherent therefore the muscles need to be developed so that they can carry out their daily living skills.” — TNS
