The MC have identified 13 such spots in the entire district, where the MC with the support of a private firm, Esto Internet Private Limited, will provide free Internet services for three years.
Earlier, the MC had planned to carry out digital work with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), which was charging Rs 62 lakh per year for providing the Internet services.
