Panchkula Civil Surgeon marks probe against doctor found ‘tipsy’

The Panchkula Civil Surgeon has marked an inquiry into the allegation of a female doctor found in an inebriated condition at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Raipurani, Panchkula, on Tuesday night.

According to information, some attendants, along with a patient, found a senior female doctor allegedly in a drunken condition. The attendants even made a video of the doctor and circulated it on the social media.  The attendants lodged a complaint with the senior officials of the Health Department.  Civil Surgeon Dr Yogesh Sharma told mediapersons that an inquiry has been marked in the matter and the doctor was asked to submit a written explanation.  Sources added that a commiittee of senior doctors have submitted submitted that prime facie the doctor was in an inebriated condition. — TNS
