Patiala lad Gaurav cracks Delhi Judicial Services exam

Not dejected by five failed attempts, Gaurav Goyal, a city-based boy, has finally cracked Delhi Judicial Services (DJS) 2018 examination, the results of which were declared on May 21.

Gaurav, a graduate of Rajiv Gandhi National Law University, has cracked the judicial examination in his sixth attempt by securing 10th rank.

Gaurav had been preparing for state judicial examinations for the past three years. Though he had failed in previous five mains examinations by narrow margins, he didn’t give up. Gaurav said, “Every time I failed by one or two marks, I always said to myself that if I am so close, I will definitely get it one day.”

Gaurav said he used to lock himself in a room and study for hours. He added that he was living in a room in Chandigarh, far from his family, to keep focused himself focused on his preparations. — TNS
