Dr Aditya Aggarwal, Professor and Head, Unit II, Orthopaedics, PGI, was awarded for his research published in an international journal of repute by the institute during the 7th Annual Research Day.

His research was on the reduction of blood loss in bilateral total knee replacement by use of trenaxemic acid locally. Successful total knee arthroplasty (TKA) offers tremendous benefts and vastly enhances the quality of life. — TNS
