PGI rheumatologist gets Rabindranath Tagore oration

Dr Aman Sharma, additional professor, clinical immunology and rheumatology services, department of internal medicine, PGIMER, has been awarded the prestigious Rabindranath Tagore oration by the Association of Physicians of India (API). 

This oration is in recognition of his contribution in the field of rheumatology in India. It includes an award of Rs 10,000, a citation and free stay.  This is one of the highest orations awarded by the Indian College of Physicians of the API.  He will deliver this oration during the 74th APICON - 2019 CME to be held at Kochi in 2019.   He  has been working in the field of rheumatology with a special interest in rare rheumatic diseases like systemic vasculitis, relapsing polychondritis and also in the field of psoriatic arthritis. —TNS
