PKL: Haryana Steelers retain Vikash Khandola

Chandigarh, March 25

Haryana Steelers have retained Vikash Khandola under the ‘Elite Retained Players’ category. A total of 29 players have been retained by their respective franchisees of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) under the category, the organisers announced on Monday.

The number of retained players for the upcoming season, starting July 19, has been increased from the previous season’s 21. The Elite Player Retention cap has also been increased from a maximum of four to six.

The non-retained players will go under the hammer on April 8 and 9. — Agencies

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
