Students of Creative Art College, Hissar, staged a Hindi comedy play — ‘Best of Luck’ — as a part of the Jaspal Bhatti comedy series, under the aegis of the Tagore Theatre Society and the Department of Culture, at Tagore Theatre here on Sunday.

Directed and adapted by Aklavya Chaudhry from a popular Hollywood film ‘Tom, Dick and Harry’, the play bared the psyche of three young differently abled, but ambitious lovers — a blind (Madhur Bhatia), a dumb (Sunit Dhankad) and deaf (Daksh Malhotra) — who wished to propose to their respective beloveds and were shocked to realise that they all loved the same girl — Mohini (Poonam Jhangra).

The fact came to light when Mohini agreed to visit the blind boy at his house where all three handicapped friends attempted to prove that they had no abnormality and all activities generated a situational comedy. However, Mohini, while appreciating their proposal for marriage, advises them to shun the handicapped stigma and be brave to resurrect their lives. Besides Atul Lingyan (servant Subi), Naveen Nishad and Chirag shared the credits.
