Police file challan in fraud case

Chandigarh: The police submitted a challan against a Panchkula resident in a Rs 5-crore fraud case. It has been filed against Hari Om Goyal under Sections 420, 467, 471, 201 and 120-B, IPC. He was booked on the complaint of KK Aggarwal of Axiom Cordages Limited, Mumbai. The 500-page challan has 20 witnesses. As per the complaint, the Mumbai firm had hired the accused’s company for liaisoning job and issued it a demand draft of Rs 5 crore. He allegedly forged the order and receipts and obtained the loan of Rs 5 crore. — TNS
