The 78th IPSC Principals’ Conclave is under way at The Punjab Public School (PPS), Nabha. Began here yesterday, the conclave will conclude on December 5. As many as 38 principals from leading public schools of the country along with 13 honorary members of the IPSC Board are attending the annual conclave. The theme for this year’s conclave is 'Positive progressive partners – soaring towards excellence'.
Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore will formally inaugurate the event tomorrow. His address will be followed by a talk by Gen Bikram Singh, former Chief of Army Staff.
Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh will address the conclave on December 4, followed by Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal's address.
Many notable academic personalities and leading educationists will deliver lectures during the event. There will be panel discussions and moderated sessions on a variety of topics pertaining to education. Member schools will share good practices at their respective institutions. The event will culminate on December 5 after the annual general meeting of the IPSC Board.
Headmaster Jagpreet Singh said, "It is a highly prestigious event since leading academicians of the country will pool their combined knowledge and experience and take important decisions that will directly affect the future of school education in the country."
