Priyanshu overpowers Sarath for boy’s title

Second seed Malvika Bansod defeated third seed Gayatri Gopichand to win the girls' U-19 title in the 27th Smt Krishna Khaitan Memorial All India Ranking Badminton Tournament, at the Tau Devi Lal, Sector 3.

Malvika won the first game 21-11, however, Gayatri returned back with a 20-22 victory. In the final game, Bansod logged 21-15 win to bag the championship. 

In the boys' U-19 category, third seed Priyanshu Rajawat of Madhya Pradesh came from one game down to beat Sarath D of Andhra Pradesh. Rajawat lost the first game 18-21, however, bounced back strongly 21-17 24-22.

Krishna, Dhruv win boys’ U-19 doubles title

Krishna Prasad and Dhruv Kapila defeated Vishnuvardhan Goud and Sri Krishna Sai Kumar Podile 21-16 21-15 to win the title of the boys' U-19 doubles category.

In the girls' U-19 doubles category, third seed Srishti Jupudi and Ashwini Bhat  beat fourth seed Sahithi Bandi and Thanushree 21-16 21-14. In the final match of the mixed doubles U-19 category, Navaneeth Bokka and Sahithi Bandi defeated Sai Pratheek Krishna Prasad and Ashwini Bhat 18-21 22-20 21-15.
