Prof Singla appointed Dean, Research, at PU

Professor RK Singla, Chairperson, Department of Computer Science and Application, Panjab University, was appointed as the Dean, Research, on Friday.
He is doctorate from the PU and has an experience of more than 14 years in teaching, research and administration.
The Syndicate decided to appoint the seniormost professor for the post. In December, the Syndicate divested Prof SK Tomar from the post of the Dean, Research.
He is the resource person for refresher courses in computer science and information technology of the UGC and is also a member of the editorial board of various journals. He has 263 citations to his credit and has contributed various articles in magazines and newspapers. He has guided several research scholars in computer science and applications.
