Preneet informed the students about the work done by the Congress for youngsters in the last two years.

She said, “Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has already provided jobs to youth under ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar’ scheme. Smart phones will also be distributed after the elections.”

She said youngsters would play a great role in the 2019 General Election and the NSUI activists should inform youth about their role and responsibility.

Preneet said that it was unfortunate that the BJP government has labelled youth as anti-national for raising their voice.

“PM Modi labels everyone anti-national for criticising the Central Government. This is a dangerous trend for the country,” she said.

Meanwhile, the student wing leaders were seen pleading workers to sit on empty chairs. Perneet was reportedly perturbed with the poor management of the event.
