Chandigarh: Panjab University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the London School of Management Education (LSME) in recognition of the establishment of a new collaborative working arrangement for responsible research in India. The ceremony took place in London at the LSME Campus in London Borough of Redbridge on February 5. This MoU is relevant as it is the first step towards implementing a joint objective to initiate and nurture the culture of responsible research and innovations amongst all participating institutions within the Chandigarh Region Innovation Knowledge Cluster (CRIKC). The MoU documents were signed by Dr Ravi Kumar on behalf of the LSME and VC Arun Kumar Grover on behalf of the PU. This proposal was based on the existing principle that research can be challenging and should be more responsive to social needs and confronts some of the threats faced by society in modern times. TNS
