During a meeting of revising committee held today under Vice-Chancellor AK Grover, Controller of Examination Prof Parvinder Singh said, “The online examiner portal has been introduced for the first time by the Panjab University. With the introduction of this system, payment of remuneration to the examiners will be facilitated. Moreover, the authenticity of examiners as well as the recommendation authority is verified and confirmed through the log in identity and passwords given to the concerned examiner and principal to avoid any lapse in the examination system.”

The revising committee is constituted by the Syndicate to scrutinise the list of examiners suggested by the Board of Studies.

It was one of the recommendations of the Justice GC Garg Committee to make the mechanism regarding authentication of data received from the colleges.
