Chandigarh, March 7
The team from the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University, was declared the winner for problem statement related to cyber security during the Smart India Hackathon held recently at the PSIT, Kanpur.
The third edition of the hackathon was organised by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), at 48 nodal centres across the country.
The UIET team consisted Rudransh Srivastava (leader), Sarthak Gupta, Sarthak Prajapati, Sanskriti Goel, Himani Chopra and Shaleen Ahuja. They were awarded a prize money of Rs 1 lakh.
Around two lakh teams participated in the competition, 5 per cent of which were shortlisted for the finale.
