Zirakpur: One person sustained serious injuries when a rashly-driven Jaguar crashed into an Innova near Nimantran Palace on the Zirakpur-Panchkula highway on Friday night. The victim has been identified as Thomas, a resident of Sector 26, Panchkula.

- The incident took place around 10.45 pm when the Jaguar hit the median of a divider and veered onto the other side of the road, rammed into an Innova, coming from the Panchkula side.
- The passersby brought the victim out of the car. The Innova car was in flames within seconds. Thomas and his driver Vikas were rushed to the GMCH-32, Chandigarh. OC
