Panchkula, August 8
Crusader of infamous Ruchika Girhotra molestation case, Anand Prakash, on Tuesday came out in support of Varnika Kundu's family.
While talking to The Tribune, Prakash, a resident of Sector 6, Panchkula, said he will lend his full support to Kundu family.
Today morning, he met with V S Kundu, Varnika’s father, and they exchanged mobile numbers.
On August 12, 1990, Ruchika Girhotra was molested by the then Inspector General of Police SPS Rathore who subsequently became Haryana police chief.
The teenager committed suicide three years later. Ruchika’s family had blamed former Haryana Chief Minister OP Chautala and bureaucrats for protecting Rathore by ensuring that no action was taken against him.
