The health authorities have intensified its drive to check food adulteration in the town. Health teams carried out raid at Gopal Sweets in Zirakpur on Thursday.
District food health officer Rajbir Singh Kang said raids were conducted following directions of the Deputy Commissioner under the Tandarust Punjab Mission.
Samples of sweets and other food items were collected from the shop, which were dispatched to the State Food Laboratory, Kharar, he added. The report of the analysis would be made available to the Health Department at the earliest, said Kang.
