Saturdays for senior citizens at RLA office

Defence personnel and senior citizens will not require an online appointment for getting their work done at the RLA office on Saturdays. They can just walk in for the work as is the present practice at the RLA office. The RLA has kept Saturdays exclusively for defence personnel and senior citizens.

While the RLA has started online appointment for the general public from Monday to Friday, it has decided to continue with the existing manual system for defence personnel and senior citizens on Saturdays. However, if they come on other working days, they will have to seek an online appointment like the general public.

Meanwhile, the number of applicants at the RLA increased on Friday. The RLA has opened six counters for driving licences and five for registration certificates. There is a heavy rush for online appointment for Monday.
