SD-32 in next round

Hosts PML SD Public School (Sector 32) registered an easy 53-34 victory over Sri Guru Hari Krishan Model School (Sector 38) on the second day of the 20th Pandit Mohan Lal Memorial Basketball Tournament today.  

Jaskaran (22 points) and Bhartinder (17 points) ensured an easy win for the hosts. In the second match, Guru Nanak Public School (Sector 36) defeated St Anne's School (Sector 32) 20-10. Sargun (6 points) and Kunjal (4 points) were the best performers for the winners. Gurukul Global (Mani Majra) lads won the last match of the day by defeating SGGS Collegiate Public School (Sector 26) 36-12. In the girls' category, Carmel Convent School (Sector 9) recorded a close 44-42 win over Vivek High School (Sector 38). Vivek High School (Sector 38) defeated St Anne's School 45-8 in a one-sided match. —TNS
