SD College victorious for fifth time in youth festival

GGDSD College was declared the overall winners for the fifth year in a row at the Panjab University Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival that concluded here on Friday.
SD College lifted the overall trophy with a huge margin of 65 points by scoring a total of 177 points. Panjab University came second with a score of 112 while DAV College, Sector 10, stood third with 105 points.
Dr Bhushan Kumar Sharma, Principal, said the college had won the overall trophy for the fifth consecutive year.
“It is due to the dedication and hard work of our students and teachers that we have won numerous prizes and have been declared the overall winners for 5 years in a row with a big margin from the nearest competitor,” he said.
The four-day mega event saw nearly 3,000 students competing for prizes in 68 different competitions. The fest was hosted by GGDSD College.
