The Postgraduate Department of Commerce at MCM DAV College for Women, Sector 36-A, organised an informative session on ‘e-filing of Income Tax Returns’.

Rohin Arora, a chartered accountant, conducted the seminar. He apprised the students of the fundamental rules pertaining to the filing of returns and also explained the key changes in the forms over the years.

He said the advent of online Income Tax return filing websites and constant upgrading of the Income Tax Department’s portal has made the filing process relatively easier.

Arora shed light on various aspects and sections in the forms for all types of taxpayers.
