Chandigarh, December 3
Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Sector 35, overcame MDAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 22, 7-5 to win the boys’ U-14 title on the concluding day of the State Kho-Kho Championship at the Sector 42 Sports Complex, here today.
Government Model High School, Sector 35, finished third after beating Government Model High School, Sector 7, 10-4, in the playoff.
In the girls’ U-14 final, Government Model High School, Sector 35, drubbed Government Model High School, Sector 7, 9-2.
Government High School, Sector 54, registered a 10-2 win over SD Public School, Sector 24, to claim the third position. MDAV School, meanwhile, won the boys’ U-18 title after defeating Coaching Centre, Sector 42, 6-2 in the final.
Unified Club overwhelmed Shishu Niketan School, Sector 22, 10-8 to claim the third position. In the girls’ U-18 category, MDAV humbled Shishu Niketan School, 10-2 to claim the title.
Khalsa Club, Sector 54, defeated Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 20, 9-1, to finish third.
Welfare Club won the men’s senior title after they ousted Unified Club 6-1 in the final. Khalsa Club defeated City Club 8-2 to claim the third position. In the women’s senior category final, Dev Samaj College, Sector 45, overcame SD Public School, 5-4.
Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11, edged out Home Science College, Sector 10, 3-1 to settle for third position.
