Sons booked for theft

Chandigarh, August 12

Two brothers have been booked on their father’s complaint for stealing Rs 6.50 lakh from their own house. According to the police, the complainant, Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Burail village, alleged that his sons Harshit and Kashish had stolen the money from the house on August 7. Sandeep Kumar approached the police, who registered a case under Section 380 (theft in dwelling house) against the duo at the Sector 34 police station on August 11. —TNS
