St Soldier Int’l, Chandigarh

Members of the student council of St Soldier International School, Sector 28, Chandigarh, were sworn in at an investiture ceremony. Chief guest Jagwinder Pal Singh Hayer invested school head boy Aryan with a badge, sash and a school flag followed by school sports head boy Arnav Rana. The student council took the pledge to hold the school name in high esteem and to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.

Mount Carmel, Chandigarh

The School Cabinet Initiation Ceremony was organised by Mount Carmel School, Sector 47, Chandigarh, on the school premises. The ceremony commenced with the welcome note followed by felicitation of the school cabinet. Principal Parveena John Singh administered the oath of office to members of the school cabinet.

St Mary’s, Chandigarh

World Earth Day was celebrated at St Mary’s School, Sector 46, Chandigarh, with great enthusiasm. An inter-class poem recitation competition for Classes I to V and poster making competition for Classes VI to X on the topic “Save Earth” were held to mark the day. Kindergarten students also celebrated their colour day with fun and enthusiasm.

St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, Chandigarh, celebrated Earth Day with great fervour. A special morning assembly was conducted wherein students of the Dramatic Club staged a skit to enlighten the students about the importance of Earth Day. TNS

St Joseph, Lalru

Lalru: St Joseph School, Manauli Surat, Lalru, celebrated the day with great zeal and fervour. Tiny tots showcased their talent by colouring t-shirts with blue and green colour. Students bought multifarious plants and planted them on the school premises and nearby areas. The aim was to spread the message of promoting conservation and emphasising on the vital role plants play in our eco system. OC
