St Xavier’s, Chandigarh

St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School organised an orientation program for tiny-tots. Chandan Patwal, senior vice-principal welcomed parents on the occasion. They held an interaction with teachers. They had a round of the school and enjoyed rides.

Gurukul Global 

The kindergarten wing of Gurukul Global School, IT Park, Chandigarh, organised an orientation programme for their parents. It was followed by a workshop by Prof JS Thakur. A movie was also shown to the parents, which showed as to how their behaviour affected children.

Brilliance World, Panchkula  

Brilliance World School, Sector 12, Panchkula organiaed an orientation programme for parents. They were informed about the upcoming academic session by teachers and the principal. The purpose of the meet was to implement the school’s  curriculum effectively with an active involvement of parents. Principal Niranjana Chatterjee said, “It is a must that all parents should be thoroughly aware of the ideology and the approach of the school. We also suggested the activities in which kids are excelling and which they  need to pursue further. Parents were also guided about the nutritional and psychological needs of their wards.”

GMMS, Mani Majra

Shipa Kumari, a student of the GMMS, Pocket 10, Mani Majra, won a silver medal in the Taekwando Sub- Junior National Games in Pune (Maharashtra). The school in-charge, Tarun Chhabra, congratulated her for the achievement.
