St Xavier’s, Chandigarh

Students and staff of St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, celebrated the 144th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. A special morning assembly was organised wherein students were told about Patel's contribution in India's struggle for freedom and integration of the country. The students pledged to work with dedication to preserve and strengthen the freedom and integrity of the nation.

Govt Senior Secondary, Khuda Lahora

Students and teachers participated in 'Rashtriya ekta shapath'. They also took out a 'prabhat pheri' wherein over 500 students and teachers took part. Principal Kiran Bala flagged off the rally.

Ryan International School, Mohali

A show and tell competition was conducted for the students of classes I and II. The event sparked their imagination and made them describe things in an innovative way with confidence, facial expression and voice modulation.

Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh 

Kindergarten students celebrated Diwali on the school premises with great enthusiasm. A cultural extravaganza was presented by the students. Rangoli and diya decoration competition was also organised in the school.

Edustar Adarsh School, Kalewal 

IH volleyball competition for classes VI to X (Girls) was organised. Vaayu House bagged first position and Agni House stood second in the match. Damanjot Kaur from Vaayu House was declared the Best Player. Arshdeep Kaur was declared the performer of the day. 

Sri Guru Harkrishan, Chandigarh  

The computer department organised an inter-house competition titled web designing for students of classes IX and X on its premises. Ansh and Dilpreet were overall winners of the competition. 

Satluj Public School, Panchkula  

On the occasion of Train your Brain Day, as a part of BTCL activity, students took part in a number of events such as mathematics riddles, puzzles, sudoku to learn maths in a fun way. Director Krit Serai said, such activities prove to be a great learning for students and at the same time, make maths fun and interesting. 

AKSIPS-41 Smart School, Chandigarh  

The school organised a trip to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala. Around 200 students visited fun science gallery, cyber space gallery, sports gallery, virtual reality gallery, among others. They also enjoyed watching a special show named 'Wonders of the Universe' in the theatre.

GMSSS-23, NYC, Chandigarh  

An awareness programme for National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) Drug/Abuse was conducted for students of classes IX & X in GMSSS-23(NYC), by SCERT-32 Chandigarh in collaboration with National Institute of Social Defence. Poonam Katoch along with resource persons Ankit Sharma and Kanwaljit Singh made students aware about the use and abuse of drugs.

Govt Model High, Chandigarh  

The school organised 'prabhat pheri', debate and writing quiz competition on 'Rashtriya ekta shapath'. Students participated enthusiastically in the events.

Kids 'R' Kids School, Chandigarh  

The school celebrated Halloween with great zeal and festivity. Students of primary segment came dressed up in various costumes of ghost, ghoul, wizard or witch and went trick or treating in the entire school. Students also carved pumpkins and displayed their artistic talents. Senior students also decked up their classrooms to make the scariest room possible and also went trick or treating. TNS
