Students get tips on clearing Civil Services exam
Patiala, November 7
Multani Mal Modi College organised an awareness lecture on Civil Services as a career option. The lecture was organised by the General Studies Circle of the college.
Principal Dr Khushvinder Kumar motivated the students to prepare for prestigious examination and to contribute towards the development of Indian Democracy by getting selected into All India and State Civil Services.
Dr Ganesh Kumar Sethi, In-charge, General Studies Circle, introduced the students to the history and need of Civil Services in India.
He described how the great Indian visionary and First Deputy Prime Minister of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel framed the structure of the services in India.
Naman Sharma from Chanakya IAS Academy, Chandigarh, explained the structure, preparation, strategy and tips to clear Civil Services exam. He handled queries raised by students regarding language barrier, political pressure and corruption in Civil Services. — TNS
