Kumar duo commenced with an invocatory Ganesh stotram before paying tribute to Sufi mystic Hazrat Amir Khusro through his composition ‘Chhap tilak sab chheeni re toh sey naina lagaike’. The focus shifted to the verses of Sufi saint Baba Bulleh Shah, who while reveling in the glory of his Murshid, the spiritual mentor and preceptor, sculpted words of wisdom themed at complete surrender to Almighty.

Kumar Bandhus presented ‘Saade naal mukhda moad, ‘Jis tan lagya ishaq’ and ‘Ni main kamli haan’ with fervor. The duo also rendered ‘Tu mane ya na mane dildara” and a traditional hit ‘Buhe baariyan’ amid applause and provided a befitting finale to their recital with booming ‘Damadam mMast Kalandar’.
