Ludhiana, June 6
The 43rd edition of Junior Punjab Swimming and Water Polo Championship for Boys and Girls will be held at Sports College Swimming Pool, Jalandhar, from June 8, according to Apinder Singh Grewal, President, Punjab Swimming Association.
Swimmers born between 2001 and 2003 can compete in the 15 to 17 years age-group, while those born between 2004 and 2005 will be eligible to participate in 13 to 14 years age-group. Swimmer born on or after January 1, 2001, can compete in water polo.
Performance in the championship will be taken into consideration while finalising the state teams for the Junior National Aquatic Championship in Karnataka. — OC
