Tech-fest ends at Universal Group of Institutions

Lalru: The two-day 'Aavishkar'18, an annual tech-fest of the Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru, concluded, here on Friday. Health and Family Welfare Minister Brahm Mohindra was the chief guest on the occasion. The guests appreciated the efforts made by students who showcased the rich culture and heritage of Punjab through Viraasat-e-Punjab stall. Dr Gurpreet Singh, chairman, Universal Group of Institutions, appreciated the efforts of students and promised to take the standards of UGI in each aspect to new heights. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
