Thousands appear for PU CET (UG)

Combined Entrance Test (CET) (UG) was conducted here today by Panjab University.
PU Controller of Examinations Parvinder Singh said 33 centres were set up in Chandigarh to conduct the examination, among which 18 centers were on the PU campus. The PU officials said that no unwanted and unpleasant incident of any kind was reported from any quarter.
For mathematics exam, 5,102 candidates appeared, while 781 were absent. In chemistry exam, 8,716 candidates appeared, while 1,781 were absent. For physics exam, 8,717 candidates appeared, while 1,780 were absent. For biology exam, 4,189 students appeared, while 1,085 were absent.
