Training Command chief inspects school

Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, Air Marshal Arvindra Singh Butola, inspected the No.1 Technical Type Training (TETTRA) School at the Air Force High Grounds here today.

He visited various training and ancillary facilities available at the school for imparting technical training on latest generation fighter aircraft and helicopters to aircrew and ground personnel. He was briefed on various developmental activities in aircraft maintenance. Air Marshal interacted with trainees and instructional staff for feedback on the quality of training being imparted. He laid emphasis on the need for continuous training and re-skilling for achieving greater operational preparedness. He also unveiled a bust of former Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal DA La Fontaine, who had conceived TETTRA schools in the IAF. — TNS
