Twin titles for Nishan Academy

Nishan Academy, Muktsar, won girls' U-17 and U-19 titles on the concluding day of the CBSE Volleyball Cluster XVII Championship at Gian Jyoti Global School, here today.
In the girls' U-17 final, Nishan Academy registered a 25-5 25-11 25-10 win over Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Muktsar.
Nishan Academy also proved to be superior to their opponents from Guru Gobind Singh Public School in the girls' U-19 competition, clinching the final 25-18 25-7 25-15.
Nishan Academy's Jasmeet Kaur was adjudged the best player in the U-17 category, while Harshdeep Kaur was named the best player in the U-19 age-group.
Sant Ishar Singh Public School, Sangrur, and Pioneer Convent School, Malerkotla, shared the third position in the U-17 category. — TNS
