Chandigarh, February 2
The eighth edition of the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) National Client Counselling Competition commenced on Saturday at Panjab University (PU).
The competition witnessed 25 teams from across India, including GLC-Mumbai, NLUI-Bhopal, and NUJS-Kolkata.
The day started with the opening ceremony wherein advocate Tanu Bedi shared her experiences with participants.
Prof Rattan Singh and Dr Shruti Bedi welcomed the guests and the participating teams. The preliminary rounds of the competition were adjudged by the alumni of the UILS. Eight teams made it to the quarter final rounds. These rounds were adjudged by practicing advocates and academicians. The semi-final and the final round of the competition will take place on Sunday. — TNS
